Association of Software Suppliers (A SS)

The Association's goal is to assist in creation and expansion of a civilized software market in Russia and to protect interests of information services and licensed software suppliers and producers. The Association represents the interests of its members in ensuring legal rights to copy and distribute programs for computers, databases and information services in Russia; collaborates with authorities and law and order bodies in working out and making decisions aimed at creating legal and economic environment favorable for licensed software developers and vendors including those who ensure uniform policy in the struggle against piratical production. It conducts mass media campaigns and expertise of software products, executes collection, storage and analysis of the software market information.
